San Francisco, CA - The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, today announced it will host its 20th annual Women Entrepreneurs' Benefit (W.E.B) on May 12th at San Francisco's Argent Hotel from 11am-2pm.
Each year, NAWBO San Francisco honors Bay Area women business owners who exemplify excellence in business performance, innovation, and contributions to the community. The honorees are selected from three categories. The Trailblazer award is for a seasoned businesswoman who has learned how to compete, to change, to create a solid, well-balanced successful business, and to be a mentor and role model for others. The Rising Star award is for a businesswoman in the entrepreneurial stage: on the fast track, prospering, and pioneering new business models, products, or services. The Social Entrepreneur award is for a businesswoman who has created a venture with social as well as business goals at its core. Winners were announced in March and will be honored at the May W.E.B. event.
NAWBO-SF President Sharon Gadberry said, "Thanks to everyone who has participated this year by submitting such outstanding candidates. We were thrilled to see so many nominees and we are undoubtedly going to have a very exciting event."
