Join Our Campaign to Stop Beheading of Prostitutes by Iraqi Government! |
|
Iraqi
Regime has launched a bloody campaign against prostitutes in different
cities of Iraq by beheading them and putting their heads in their door’s
footsteps. 80
women have been beheaded till now. This horrific crime is the beginning of
an anti- women attack by the government in Iraq and imposing darker
situation on Iraqi people in general. To stop this bloody cleansing of prostitutes, The Middle Eastern Centre for Women Studies, The Kurdish Refugee Women Organisation and women’s rights activists from the Middle East countries have launched a campaign. A press conference will be held on November 17, 2-5 PM, at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London WC1. Journalist and media interested in this issue are invited. We call women and human’s rights organizations and progressive organisations to join our campaign in the defense of prostitutes in Iraq. Campaign
