Paula LeDuc Fine Catering
Paula LeDuc is a Bay Area native whose natural ability, creative flair and boundless energy make her one of the premier caterers in the country. The foremost practitioner of her art in one of the most sophisticated and competitive food markets in the world, she reigns as caterer of choice for corporations and private parties alike.
In a world populated by chefs sporting degrees from renowned culinary academies, LeDuc came to her calling by a fairly circuitous and unconventional route. Following completion of a Master's Degree in Special Education / Visually Handicapped studies, she helped establish the Blind Adolescent Living Skills Center in the Bay Area.
Working at the Center and developing adaptive cooking techniques for the blind, Paula met the late renowned chef Ken Wolfe, who had agreed to serve as advisor to the Center's Culinary Arts Department. Thus began a student/mentor relationship resulting in an intense five-year apprenticeship in classical French culinary technique, a thorough appreciation of food and a respect for its preparation.
In 1980, at the urging of many future clients, Paula launched her career as a professional caterer. Her inherent aptitude, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail quickly positioned Paula LeDuc Fine Catering as an exciting new force on the catering and event-planning scene. Paula LeDuc adheres to basic principles: commitment to excellence in food preparation, excitement in presentation and appreciation for both clients and staff.
For Paula, these qualities are much more than words on a plaque; they are the immutable hallmarks of every project her company undertakes. Today, Paula's energy and enthusiasm continues to inspire her team of perfectionists, who dazzle partygoers throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
